I have noticed a drop in the number of white pelicans migrating to our lake from up north. However, the brown pelicans seem quite plentiful in south Texas.
The last I knew there was concern about the numbers being seen brown pelicans. I remember the first time I saw pelicans we were at the Dalton Sea when long flights of pelicans grace the sky both brown and white. They were separated flights.

Yes, the birds move around, I think the brown pelicans is still around on the West Coast.☕👵

Gorgeous! I like the little brown pelicans that can be found in places like San Diego, California. So adorable!
