Wishing Everyone A Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

I know that I have not even had a chance to check in since I quit blogging regularly – so many things to do with all the grandchildren.

Even though I haven’t checked in, I still think about all of you and hope that you are doing well. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hopefully the New Year will bring much health, joy and happiness to everyone of you.

Time Keeps Flying By

Since beginning my blog earlier this year, I feel that I have made many new friends, even though I have not personally met any of you.  I really appreciate all the things that you have shared with me and taught me. However at this point, my grandkids are getting older, and we seem to be getting busier and busier.  I thought that I would be able to keep up with posting better than I have been, but that is not the case, and if I can’t do a good job, I don’t want to do it.  Therefore, I may drop in once in a while, but will not be posting regularly.

Currently, Jez has agreed to take over the WWE challenge, but he will not be able to start until November 11.  Please check out his blog at https://jezbraithwaite.blog/ and support him as you have supported me.

I am waiting to hear back from someone about taking over the BOTD challenge. I would like to find someone to take over this challenge also; so if you are interested, please let me know in case that person decides that they can’t do it.

BOTD: November 4, 2019 Juvenile Turkey Vulture

The other day, I looked out the back window of our house. There were several crows out there (see yesterday’s BOTD picture) and this huge bird, a juvenile turkey vulture. I always knew that vultures were bigger than most of the birds that we see, but with the crow, which isn’t really a small bird, nearby, the difference in sizes was quite striking.
