I personally have noticed that we are not seeing as many birds as we usually do. This is a terrible thing. I found this right before I left on the trip and wanted to share it with you all. Very sad.

It’s difficulty to stamp this news with a WordPress “like.” However, I want to recognize you for raising awareness on this most vital issue. I am equally disturbed about forecasts on the future of the insect Kingdom. I belong to a lot of organizations such as the Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, etc. That’s about all I can do at this stage of the game. I get free calendars with pretty pictures, return mail labels and the occasional tote bag. I find the prospects very upsetting. God bless you for raising consciousness on this matter!

I could go on and on about my town that captured and released 500 yes 500 feral cats after ‘fixing’ them. (Our town has a population of only 21,000)They are nothing but destroyers of the bird population and disease spreading pests! ug!
