When we first moved here, they used to run down our alley. But it had been a long time since I’d seen them not in captivity. This one was so happy and free.
I got really lucky. One of my children lived in the hill country of Texas, and this guy hung around their house. He even went up to the window one day and looked in to see what was going on. Unfortunately, that picture did not come out because the screen messed up my focus.
He surprised me too when he went up into the tree! I definitely didn’t expect that.

Great pics! I tried to photograph the roadrunner and all I got were blurs. Call myself the Coyote.
