When I first saw it, I thought the bee was dead. I touched the side of the butternut squash blossom and he started slowly moving around. I am convinced that he was taking a nap. He moved around a little, and then went right back to what he was doing -sleeping! He stayed there for most of the day! I began to think that he might be sick or dying, but he was gone that evening, and back napping the next day!

Strange for a bee. Maybe he was drunk on the flower nectar? Must have been pretty potent, and then he wanted more the next day. haha! 😉
