Ah …. that is a shame.
I used to use a 300mm Tokina lens with an Olympus OM10 …. back in the day!

Unfortunately that was with a 300mm zoom lens. He kept flying further away when we’d get close and I wanted a picture of him. This was a few years ago.

That bird is on my life list I haven’t seen. It occasionally comes to the western states but it alludes me. Thanks for sharing.🍀☕👵

That’s a beauty. Never seen this bird before. You really should get yourself a zoom lens. It would make your bird photography really come alive and, from personal experience, a lot more fun!
